- Guadalupe is a construction worker married to the beautiful Lydia, who is rather apathetic about their marriage. In his spare time, Lupe composes and performs music, all dedicated to Lydia. A blind woman in the opposing apartment listens to Lupe's music regularly and talks with him about his life. When Lydia meets an old friend who employs women as night club dancers, she decides to divorce Lupe, with little thought for what will happen to their young son. At the same time, Lupe is given a recording contract for his music
- Sufrimiento, llanto y desamor acompañan a Lupe (Cuco Sanchez), un albañil que vive con su esposa Lidia (Alma Delia Fuentes), quien se vio obligada a casarse con él, al estar embarazada de otro hombre. Lidia lo abandona y con ella la suerte de Lupe parece cambiar al volverse un famoso compositor, por lo que se le abren las puertas a grandes oportunidades. Más tarde conoce a Leticia (Jaqueline Andere), una invidente que se enamorada de él por sus composiciones
