- Transported from France, a valuable show horse arrives at Pine Hollow, the mysterious owner to arrive later. When the champion horse escapes Carol, Stevie and Lisa take it upon themselves to help find him. The girls do find Hugo, the horse, and unveil their surprise birthday party for Carole, and learn that the horse's owner is non other than French dressage champion, Dorothée Doutey. Six months ago she fill in competition breaking her pelvis, but more importantly, breaking her sefl-confidence. Dorothée becomes the riding instructor at Pine Hollow, but the lessons she learns from The Saddle Club girls heal her emotional wounds
