- "Yankee doodle dandy": The life of the renowned musical composer, playwright, actor, dancer, and singer George M. Cohan. "This is the army": Jerry Jones is a World War I soldier and entertainer. In an unfortunate turn of events, Jerry is wounded in battle, and his dance career is sadly cut short. But when the U.S. becomes involved in World War II, Jerry decides to put on his own all-soldier revue! "Thank your lucky stars": Two producers are putting together a wartime charity show with an all-star cast but the egotism of radio personality Eddie Cantor disrupts their plans. "Hollywood canteen": A GI on leave in Hollywood drops in at the Hollywood canteen, hoping to meet his dream girl
