- "Thirty-five-year-old Ava Ellington's dream job is interrupted by a request to fullfill her 84-year-old grandfather's last wish by joining him on a battle site tour of Europe. Not only foes her boss agree to her request for time off, she's given a directive to videotape the tour for the show she produces. Ava and Grandpa Jack arrive in Europe only to discover the tour is cancelled. Unwilling to let down her grandfather and her boss, they head out on their owm, and soon met up with Paul, her grandpa's best friend, and his grandson Dennis, Ava's first love. As they visit sites discussed in history books, Ava and Denis are swept down memory lane too.
