- Sigue Eric, un periodista jóven en la Ciudad de México quien deja de escribir después de recibir amenazas de muerte. Obsesionado con un anciano sin tech quien tiene Alzheimer y un ser mítico quien se cuida de niños abandonados, decide escribir de nuevo, aun se lo tiene que pagar con la vida. Desde el 2000, al menos 133 periodistas se han asesinado en México--calificado por la organización Reporters Without Borders como el país sin guerra más peligroso en el que practicar el periodismo, después solo de Afganistán y Siria
- Inspired by true events, with a surreal aesthetic and disruptive narrative that underscores the disenchantment and dangers of investigative journalism in Mexico, EL HOMBRE B<U+00da>FALO follows Eric, a young journalist in Mexico City who stops writing after he receives death threats. Obsessed with an elderly homeless man who has dementia and a mythical being who takes care of abandoned children, he decides to write again, even if it costs him his life. Since 2000, at least 133 journalists have been killed in Mexico - rated by the Reporters Without Borders organization as the most dangerous country without war in which to practice journalism, behind only Afghanistan and Syria
